     YouTube is an efficient way to promote a brand or a product. There are plenty of reasons to back up that claim within the book. Visual content is becoming more prevalent throughout the world. Nowadays, consumers would much rather watch a video advertisement than look at an advertisement on a flyer. I feel that companies should take advantage of this opportunity. Companies should look into branching out their social media platforms to more video based advertising because they can reach a broader target market as well. In the book "Essentials of Social Media Marketing", chapter 3 section 7 says that YouTube is the ideal platform for industries. There are plenty of other social media platforms that don't have the same advertising effect as YouTube. 

    With YouTube having high user traffic, there is always increasing opportunity for companies to advertise to new people. More users will allow companies to reach more specific demographics. There are multiple ways to advertise products or brands on YouTube. For example, the company can post from their own brand YouTube channel or they can place an advertisement in a completely different YouTube channel. YouTube is very good with running advertisements through videos because there are tons of people using the app each day to look for new brands, products, and video content. Companies need to pay attention to their social media distribution strategy. This strategy according to the book says this strategy determines how much and how fast the content is being shared to the public. The social media content strategy goes hand in hand with the distribution strategy because this strategy takes care of the planning and organizing of the content being posted. Companies can become more versatile and build a better consumer base when they can market different products and continuously put out trendy content that consumers will find interesting. 

    Overall, YouTube is a very reliable social media marketing platform that many companies should adopt for the future. Millions of people use YouTube each day and stumble across multiple different advertisements. Companies can use YouTube wide user community to build a better target market and analyze specific demographics.
